Organized Cacophony – Fire Escapes of Chinatown
Some photographs work because they’re perfectly composed. Others work because they capture something chaotic but strangely beautiful. For me, this image is both—a tightly framed slice of Lower Manhattan’s Chinatown, where the fire escapes create a grid of lines, shadows, and color. I call it organized cacophony.
